Happy Europe Day!
Our school was awarded the eTwinning School Label 2025-2026!
We, students and teachers, are very excited and eager to continue our path in the eTwinning learning community!
This video highlights eTwinning’s evolution. In it, you can hear directly from teachers about how eTwinning has influenced their work and shaped their vision for teaching and learning.
We are delighted to celebrate eTwinning’s 20th anniversary in 2025. This European Union’s initiative for online school collaboration has been connecting teachers and schools for nearly two decades. It provides a safe online space where we can collaborate and develop national and international projects that are inspiring and innovative.
We are very motivated to continue to develop our international projects with teachers and students from other European countries!

This project looks at how AI can help tackle some of the biggest issues we face today. From dealing with climate change and managing resources to making sure everyone is treated, AI has an impact on how we live, work, and connect. Students and teachers across Europe will team up to study different ways AI is used. We'll talk about what it can and can't do, and come up with new ideas to create a future that's not just high-tech, but also good for the planet and includes everyone.
Join us on a journey as we explore the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how it can be a powerful ally in tackling our most pressing challenges, from combating climate change to fostering equity and inclusion. Imagine a world where technology not only enhances our daily lives but does so in a way that nurtures the planet and embraces diversity and inclusiveness.
Through dynamic collaboration among students and educators across Europe, we'll explore AI's vast applications, openly discussing its potential and the hurdles we face. Our mission is to ignite creativity and propose creative ideas that pave the way for a future where technology and humanity thrive hand in hand – a future that is vibrant, sustainable, and inclusive for everyone.
We will try to unlock the secrets of AI and envision a brighter, more equitable tomorrow. Together, we'll think about a future where technology and humanity can coexist in harmony, creating a greener, more inclusive world, filled with endless possibilities.
We have been awarded the European Quality Label for the work in the eTwinning project "Embracing diversity: Living in an Inclusive Society". This means that our work, the work of our students and the collaboration with our partners met the Quality Label Framework criteria and received a high score.
As a result, we received a certificate and our project will be featured in a special area on the European School Education Platform.
Hello everyone!
We are very excited, because we are going to start a new eTwinning project!
The title is "Embracing Diversity: Living in an Inclusive Society."
The project's core theme, "Living in an Inclusive Society," is both timely and crucial. In a world marked by diversity in all its forms – cultural, ethnic, linguistic, and more – it is important that we have the tools and perspectives needed to be citizens of the world. Through this project, we aim to cultivate a spirit of inclusivity, embracing differences as opportunities for learning and growth rather than as barriers.
We also have the unique opportunity to engage in cross-cultural exchanges, expanding our horizons, through collaborative activities, dialogues, and shared experiences with students from other European countries.
We hope to contribute to a more inclusive, tolerant, and compassionate world. Let’s work together to inspire the next generation of empathetic and inclusive citizens and leaders!
When one thinks about sustainability, the environment and the green part of the planet is usually the first thing that comes to mind.
That’s not wrong. In fact our planet needs to be cared and therefore, the concern for environmental issues is very important.
But being “green” is just not good enough. That’s the main reason why there are 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within the United Nations 2030 Agenda, and not just one.
According to UNESCO, Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is a key element of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
We also believe that ESD empowers students to make informed decisions about environmental issue, economic viability and a fair society for future generations. It urges to adopt more sustainable practices and we all need to do it now. Sustainable development must become part of our values and corporate culture.
Aims
Our project aimed to provide us with the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to address sustainable development challenges and to become “engineers of the future”.
We used our digital skills for communication and creation of collaborative projects.
They practised social skills through cooperation and interaction to achieve common goals and use English for communication and the creation of collaborative projects.
Classes: 11ºA and 11ºC
This is the final product of the project: our ebook:

Our project was awarded with the National Quality Label.
According to the 2015 World Happiness Report, schools that give priority to learner well-being, have the potential to be more effective, with better learning outcomes and greater achievements in student's lives. More than ever before, this signals the need for schools to become happier places, where qualities that are essentially based on relationships, including empathy, tolerance, respect for diversity, communication and teamwork are truly the basis for an education that aims for creativity, critical thinking, self-motivation, perseverance and optimism.
The main idea of our eTwinning project: "Happy Schools make Happy students" was that schools can be happier places and that all human beings can learn to be happy, but can also be happy to learn.
During the project we shared and discussed important information in the twinspace, which has broadened our perspective about the importance of empathy, tolerance, respect for diversity, communication and teamwork to build happier schools.
It was important to recognize the positive elements of our life and to focus on positive thinking, positive attitude towards others, solidarity and respect, and and to spread this knowledge in the school community.
We worked together with other students and teachers from European countries and we developed our language skills and enthusiasm for the English language.
As a final product, we created an e-book gathering our testimonies and works, which will offer a picture of how we understand and live these values and how engaged we are in creating a happier school:
The project was very successful and it was even awarded with an etwinning National Quality label in 2022 and an eTwinning European Label too.
